How to earn:

To earn points for your stays, simply follow this one-time process:

• Log into your Marriott Bonvoy™ Account.
• Select points as your preferred currency
  
• Choose to earn points with Southwest by saving your Rapid Rewards number in your account
• Marriott Bonvoy members also have the option to redeem their Marriott Bonvoy points for Rapid Rewards points. (As of August 18, 2018; Marriott Bonvoy points converted to Rapid Rewards points do not qualify as Companion Pass qualifying points)

9,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 3,000 Rapid Rewards points
30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 10,000 Rapid Rewards points
60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 20,000 Rapid Rewards points^
90,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 30,000 Rapid Rewards points^
120,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 40,000 Rapid Rewards points^

^ For every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points exchanged, Joint Members receive 5,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.
