¹Points can be earned from (a) Qualifying Flights (defined below) operated by Southwest, or (b) through qualifying purchases with our Rapid Rewards partners. For flights completed on or before 2:59 AM Central Standard Time (“CST”) on 1/1/25, “Qualifying Flights” include flights operated by Southwest Airlines^® and paid entirely with dollars, Southwest LUV Vouchers^®, gift cards, or flight credits and with no portion of the purchase price paid with Rapid Rewards points or Rapid Rewards Business points. For flights completed on or after 3:00 AM CST on 1/1/25, “Qualifying Flights” include flights operated by Southwest Airlines^® and paid entirely with dollars, Southwest LUV Vouchers, gift cards, or flight credits and those paid with Cash + Points. NOTE: With a Cash + Points booking, points are earned only on the portion of the base fare that is paid with dollars. Qualifying Flights exclude reward flights, charter flights, nonrevenue travel, and Companion Pass travel. All Rapid Rewards rules and regulations apply and can be found at Southwest.com/rrterms.

²A Member who earns 135,000 Companion Pass qualifying points or who flies 100 qualifying one-way flights booked through Southwest^® per calendar year will qualify for Companion Pass. Companion Pass qualifying points are earned from revenue flights booked through Southwest^®, points earned on Rapid Rewards® Credit Cards, and base points earned from Rapid Rewards partners. The following do not count as Companion Pass qualifying points: purchased points; points transferred between Members; points converted from hotel and car loyalty programs, e-Rewards^®, Valued Opinions, and Diners Club^®; points earned from Rapid Rewards program enrollment, tier bonus points; flight bonus points; and partner bonus points (with the exception of the Rapid Rewards Credit Cards from Chase). No points nor tier or Companion Pass qualifying points will be awarded for flights taken by the Companion when flying on a Companion Pass reservation.

³A-List Rapid Rewards Members get a 25% earning bonus on every qualifying flight. Qualifying flights include flights booked and flown through Southwest and flights paid entirely with dollars, Southwest LUV Vouchers, gift cards or flight credits, and with no portion of the purchase price paid for with Rapid Rewards points.

⁴A-List Preferred Rapid Rewards Members get a 100% earning bonus on every qualifying flight. Qualifying flights include flights booked and flown through Southwest and flights paid entirely with dollars, Southwest LUV Vouchers, gift cards or flight credits, and with no portion of the purchase price paid for with Rapid Rewards points.

⁵Points earned with a Rapid Rewards Credit Card will post within 30 days of the statement closing date. You can find the opening and closing dates for your statement billing cycle on the first page of your statement under the Account Summary section.

⁶Points conditions: Transactions are nonrefundable and nonreversible. Please allow 72 hours for points to post to your Rapid Rewards^® account. Purchased, gifted, and transferred points do not count toward Tier or Companion Pass^® status. A credit card must be used to complete point purchase, gift, and transfer transactions. Points can be bought for personal use or as a gift in blocks of 500 with an initial minimum purchase of 2,000 points and a daily combined maximum of 60,000 points. Points can be transferred in blocks of 500 with a minimum initial transfer of 2,000 points and a daily maximum of 60,000 points. Southwest® reserves the right to amend, suspend, or change the Rapid Rewards program and/or Rapid Rewards program rules at any time without notice. Rapid Rewards Members do not acquire property rights in accrued points. The number of Rapid Rewards points needed for a particular Southwest flight is set by Southwest and will vary depending on destination, time, day of travel, demand, fare type, point redemption rate, and other factors, and is subject to change at any time until the booking is confirmed.
