Take a trip to the beach, explore Orlando’s wildlife and beautiful landscapes, and visit downtown for a delicious meal with friends or family. Regardless of where you go, you’ll find that Orlando feels just as magical outside of the parks as it does inside.
Explore Orlando’s natural wildlife and parks! Take an airboat ride and soak in the incredible views of Orlando’s protected marsh and everglade region. Be on the lookout for alligators and birds that are native to the region. If you travel to places like Orlando Wetlands Park, you might be able to spot birds like the purple gallinule, a gorgeous purple-and-blue-feathered bird with a red beak mostly native to areas in the southeastern United States and Latin America. Spend time outdoors and bask in the beautiful scenery Orlando has to offer.
After taking some time in the everglades, you might want to consider checking out another gorgeous part of Orlando’s natural terrain—Cocoa Beach! Located just an hour’s drive from Orlando, take advantage of the beautiful white sand, tons of water sports, and quaint boutiques to check out near the pier. With Kennedy Space Center nearby, you may even see a rocket launch! While you’re making your way to the beach, you might want to pay a visit to this iconic location for a tour.
With all of this sightseeing, you’ll likely work up a big appetite! Take a trip to downtown Orlando and eat with the locals. Visit Church Street, an eclectic historic street to experience dives and foodie favorites in town. Try a new Latin American cuisine and explore Orlando’s city life. If you happen to visit downtown Orlando in the evening, you might enjoy exploring Orlando’s nightlife, from shows to dancing. Wherever you go, Orlando will not disappoint!

If using the app or mobile web, you must list your name 30 minutes ahead of scheduled departure. You will receive a message based on the contact preference selected during booking if you are cleared on the flight. Group bookings and Unaccompanied Minors are not eligible for same-day standby. You will be required to pay any government taxes and fees associated with these itinerary changes but refunds will be provided. Your original boarding position is not guaranteed on your standby flight.
