This central Florida city is home to more than a dozen theme parks. You can easily walk anywhere and find interesting sights and fun adventures. Spend the day in Orlando exploring parks based on your favorite movies or ocean-themed adventures. Just one of these parks can keep the whole family occupied for days, with onsite hotels and interactive dining options.
If theme parks aren’t exactly your style, there are still endless ways to have fun in Orlando. Looking for a chance to see Floridian wildlife up close and personal? Book an Everglades airboat tour. Feel the air rush past your face as you zip across the water, twisting through the unique mangrove tunnels. Your guide will point out lazy alligators sunning themselves, storks fishing for food, and even manatees soaking in the sun near the top of the water.
Haven’t gotten enough of coastal sea life after your Everglades tour? Visit the Orlando Aquarium and immerse yourself in the fascinating depths of the ocean and all the creatures within. Learn more about ocean life and dive into close encounters with sharks, stingrays, and turtles. The pinnacle of your trip will be the 360-degree ocean tunnel where you are surrounded on all sides by water and the glimmer of fish swimming past. Interact with friendly starfish and anemones with fun talks, animal feedings, and dive shows.
If you want a more self-guided experience, rent one of the swan-shaped paddleboats and drift around scenic Lake Eola. After you’re done paddling, stroll around the beautiful downtown Lake Eola Park to check out local community events and performances. End your night with a bite to eat at any of the comfy local restaurants within walking distance for a delicious dinner.
